This beautiful little pup was abandoned in an apartment complex before a good samaritan contacted rescues to help him out! This poor little guy has clearly been alone for some time, as when he arrived he was not vetted, poorly socialized, and extremely too puppy for his age.
Now after only a few weeks of love and attention, this happy little pup is ready to be someone's new best friend! Weighing in at around 35lbs, he will be a rather large dog once he reaches adulthood. He is your typical, playful, happy go lucky pup who enjoys romping around the yard with his friends, human or canine alike. He does great with dogs of all sizes, but can sometimes be a little too over zealous for the rest since he is still learning to contain his excitement from just being able to play! He is very sweet, affectionate and eager to please. So far, his training has progressed wonderfully and we have no doubts he will graduate his puppy class with flying colors!
Toby loves to play with toys, and loves to fetch anything you can throw for him. Ball, a stick, rope toys, frisbees, you name it and he LOVES it! He's doing great at learning to return to, but don't be fooled! Sometimes he will happily play a game of Keep Away and will look just too cute doing it!
Toby will need a large yard to run and play in, as he is an energetic pup who is looking for adventure! Since he is eager to please and willing to learn, he would make an excellent running partner as well as any other outdoor activity such as hiking, biking, trailing, and swimming!
