Buttercup is an 8 month old energetic puppy. She requires a home with a fenced-in yard and an active owner who is willing to take time to play ball with her, take her for walks and train her. Buttercup is a well socialized dog, and enjoys playing with well-behaved children who will be respectful of her small size, preferably over 5 years old, small dogs, and cats. She is currently in a foster home with a 6 year old child, teenager, and 2 small dogs and gets along well with everyone.
Buttercup is a puppy, her foster family is working on potty training and basic obedience. Her new family must be willing to continue working with Buttercup to master potty training and basic obedience skills. This will take time and patience, with praise and reward. The ideal home for Buttercup would be one which her owner(s) are home most of the day. Buttercup was tearfully surrendered by her previous owners due to not being home enough. She was having to spend too many hours being crated, waiting for her owners to come home. Buttercup thrives on human contact and likes to be held like a baby. Buttercup is happiest sleeping in a bed with humans.
