My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nina is what you call a lap dog. She is 8 lbs. but feels more like 5 lbs. and she is very content sitting on your lap or laying beside you. She would be great for an older person, someone who would be home alot as she loves attention.

Nina will follow you around, lay at your feet or sit in your lap for hours, she also knows her name and will come when called. Mostly she is a quite girl but will let you know when someone is knocking at the door. She also did excellent with her bath.

Although Nina is said to be 8 yrs. old, she is in good shape. Her teeth are pretty good, her coat is shinny and soft, and she shows no signs of arthitis, she also goes up and down stairs like a pro. and Nina walks extremely well on leash and enjoys a nice walk.

Nina is blind in her right eye from what appeared to be from an infection that was never treated, but she has good sight in her left eye. She also has a broken tail that is an old injury and even though her tail is crooked she is still able to wag it when she is happy.

Nina has had a major change in her life and she is not sure of whats going to happen next. So at times she is a little jumpy with fast monements. This is to be expected though because poor Nina has been with her family her whole life and has now been torn away from her human family and life time buddy (another family dog) and now finds herself without a home thru no fault of her own all because her mom just had a human baby.

If you are looking for a friend that will snuggle with you, give you lots of hugs and kisses please consider her. I know she will make you very happy and you will make her happy as well.

Due to the fact that even the best behaved children will at times be very loud or move to fast, Nina will not be placed in a home with children.

We will give Discounts for senior citizens.
