Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Hi! My name is Blueberry and I'm approximately 5-6 years old. I'm called Booberry, cuz when you squeeze me I just ooze with love and affection. Some may find this strange since I come from a difficult beginning. I began my life by getting hit by a SUV, but it only added character to my good looks. Instead of giving you my kisses from straight on, I like to give em out the side of my mouth and that's usually where you'll see my tongue too. I was also used as a breeding machine and perhaps that's why I'm so full of love. You see, I was a very good mother , but now my desire in life is to just be the best pet I can be. I get along very well with my male counterparts but not so much my female dog friends. I've also decided that I don't like to share my space with cats either. So, I'll be perfectly content alone or with the boys as long as you let me in your lap to give you all my love. Oh yeah! When I'm happy and excited to see you I like to talk to you in my little low-tone growl of excitement. I share my toys, food and water with my housemates and I also use a doggy door or will wait patiently to be let out." Blueberry is only 5 or 6 years old and has already had at least 5 litters of puppies.....she has been used for backyard breeding her entire life. Her most recent litter was born on Memorial Day, May 31, 2008 and on Sunday July 27th her 8-week old puppies were sold and she was turned over to rescue. She is so full of love and all she wants is to be loved in return. Blueberry does not get along with female dogs so she should only go into a home with no dogs or a home with a passive male. She learned how to use a doggy door very quickly and is crate trained. She can jump VERY high and is a runner, so she needs a secure backyard and no small children. SHE DOES NOT LIKE CATS, so needs to go to a "cat free" home. She is still producing milk and as soon as she dries up a little more, she will be spayed.
