Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sam is a 6 year old 75 pound American Staffordshire mix neutered male. I found Sam on the street 2 days before Christmas in 2012. He is a beautiful dog and I just knew someone was looking for him. I tried my hardest to find his owner but never could. He was such a good dog that we decided to keep him and he has been a wonderful part of our family ever since.
We go to the dog park every weekend and he absolutely loves it. He visits every person and every dog in the park. He doesn't know a stranger. He loves playing and running around, watch hi on the videos bellow:

In Summer 2015, we adopted another dog and they have gotten along great. We’ve never really had any problems with them at home. But any time I board them with a kennel, both dogs seem to come home stressed out. Its mainly an issue with our other dog. A month ago, I boarded them and brought them home and they got in a fight. Sam was injured and needed medical care. I don't feel safe putting them back together. Boarding Sam by himself was never an issue. I’ve decided to re-home Sam because I feel that he will be most adaptable to a new environment. I love him so much and it devastates me that I need to find a new home for him but I care for him so much that I know it is the right thing to do. For now, Sam is staying at my Moms house but Sam craves a family to love and call his own.
He gets along great with everyone; kids, adults and other dogs. He probably wouldn't do well with a cat though. He would want to play with the cat and I don't think a cat would appreciate his eagerness to play. If another dog gets aggressive with him, he will generally roll over on his back and submit.
I’m looking for a new forever home for Sam. He likes being outside but really prefers to be inside with his owners. He is neutered, chipped, house and crate trained. He is current on all of his vaccinations and is Heartworm and parasite negative.
If you want to meet Sam, please call Jay at 817-496-0749 Home or 817-501-1234 Work, or call Miguel Hughes at 817-798-8416
