DeeJay, a super sweet quiet 4lb. 7 year old boy came to rescue in May 2016 with his friend Charlotte. They were recently surrendered by a family no longer had time for them. When DeeJay arrived he had obvious health needs, he is very underweight at only 4 pounds and severely dehydrated. His ideal weight is at least 6 pounds. His teeth in terrible condition, gums bleeding with severe tooth decay which was moving into his lower jaw. He's had a dental since his arrival, and while he lost many teeth, the good news was that with time and healing his jaw should be fine and with all that rot out of his mouth we know he will be feeling SOOO much better! Even in this painful state, he is the sweetest little boy ever! He is up to date on shots, neuter and will need a home with older children only due to his small size. Both DeeJay and his sister Charlotte are house broken. He will be a treasure for someone looking for 2 new family members, if you're considering DeeJay then make sure to also see Charlotte; they come together as a super duper love package.
