My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome dog looks to be a welsh terrier mix. He is just the sweetest boy - approx 3 yrs old and 25 lbs. He is very timid and shy, but very loving once he knows he's safe. He needs someone that can take some time to work with him and show him some TLC. He tested positive for heart worms and has been treated with the required set of injections, and he has been started on monthly heart guard as a preventative. He does need some leash training as he is still a little scared of the leash and some house training. He gets along with all of the other dogs, but can be scared of ones that are noisy or alphas. He would do better in a house with no small children. He is a really nice dog with a gentle disposition and is going to be a great companion for someone

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
