My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo is a young male Golden Retriever, approximately 3 year old.  He is in good health, neutered, microchipped, and UTD with standard vaccinations.

Milo plays well with the other dogs in his pack but cats are an unknown. He walks reasonably well on a leash and is housebroken. He loves his tennis ball, is energetic but not boisterous. He usually comes when called and will sit on command.  He knows the difference between “indoor” and “outdoor” play and is very smart, an excellent learner.  Milo does not have a fear of thunderstorms, loud noises nor separation anxiety. He loves to chase the ball and will do it as long as your arm holds out. Milo also will play with any dog willing to run with him.

Milo does exhibit a fear of very loud voice commands and will occasionally submissively pee in fear. He has improved 80% in this area but is till needing someone with patience to help him learn confidence. He has learned to take a treat but as noted above will cower occasionally. He is still learning to value trust as his former life did not encourage any positive training.

Milo would love to be the one to greet you at the door to welcome you home.

If you would like to open your heart and home to Milo, please submit an application which you can find on our website at www.wagsrescue.homestead.com  or by sending an email to acwein123@gmail.com.
