Betsy is looking to adopt someone in or near SW PA. WAGS is pleased to introduce Miss Betsy (namesake of Betsy Ross, as she joined WAGS in waving the flag for the 4th of July). Betsy is a slightly mixed 7 yo female Golden of medium size who is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on shots. She is housebroken, comes when called, walks well on a leash and has a gentle easygoing personality. Betsy was somewhat shy when she arrived at WAGS, but has really blossomed into a true 'velcro' Golden who enjoys the company of her 'big golden brothers', as well as her human friends. She loves to talk but never sasses. She did well on her cat test. Betsy was dumped on the streets of Clarksburg WV after living in a car with her homeless person. She shows no signs of that bad life and loves everyone and is grateful for attention. She would be ideal for a calmer household in a single-level home with no stairs, as she can be a little stiff-legged. What she is really searching for is that special someone on whose lap she can rest her head. If you are interested in seeing if one of our goldens will consider you for adoption, and you live in SW PA or nearby please send a request for an application to acwein123@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee Betsy will be available by the time you are approved as an potential adopter.
