Maverick is an incredibly handsome, young Husky boy. It's unbelievable to think that he was picked up as a stray by animal services. Maverick is very sweet and social with people and other dogs. While he enjoys playing with other dogs, his foster brother reminds him from time to time who is in charge and he is respectful of that.

Maverick has a well balanced demeanor of typical Husky energy as well as being fairly calm. He does not realize his size and thinks he is a lap dog as he is quite the lover, seeking attention any time he can get it.

Although Maverick is housebroken, he is still a little bit of a work in process in learning house rules and basic commands as he still acts very puppy-ish. He does not get into much or destroy things but he is a counter surfer and a food scavenger. If there is food hidden away or left out, he will find it.

He does not care for the crate and probably won’t need on but he will go in without too much of a fuss. At bed time he prefers to sleep near his humans, a common trait in Huskies. He does well with kids and could easily be the family dog in any home.

Maverick is healthy, Heartworm negative, housebroken, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped.
