Here's what the humans have to say about me:
GIDGET is a smart & cute, cute pup looking for love!!!!
Wait till you see this fox terrier/lab mix with her little bitty adorable ears! Such a cutie! Petite Gidget is an active, sweet, 14-month-old pup who weighs 40 lbs. (probably full-grown), is in excellent health and physical shape, and has immaculate white teeth. She’s spayed and has her current rabies, bordatella, & distemper-parvo vaccinations. She is house-broken (not an accident in the house) and crate-trained too. (She sleeps quietly in her crate with no whining, barking, or fussing at all.) Gidget has a fun, silly personality – you will just fall in love with her and her adorable smile!
This sweetie would be an excellent exercise buddy ... for a runner, jogger, biker or skateboarder. She needs more than just walks and a backyard to play in. She can easily run for miles. She also is terrific carrying a backpack so would be great on long hikes An active home and life-style is a must for this beautiful girl. She is smart too and can even talk to you (of course in her doggie language)! So train away ... teach her tricks and give her jobs to do... teach her to play Frisbee! She’s got that sparkling, “I love life!” terrier personality that thrives on pleasing you, staying busy and learning.
Gidget is a high-energy girl who enjoys playing with other dogs, preferably her size or larger, who have lots of energy too. She gets along great with her foster brother, shares her toys, playing keep away, and even chewing on the same toy at the same time. You should see them walking side-by-side carrying a nylabone together! What a riot! Then one of them gets the bone ... and they’re back to “keep away” again. If you have another pooch, we will establish a meet and greet time to insure the pups get along well together. This sweet girl also LOVES going to the doggie park and meeting other pooches for play-time, and Gidget also enjoys going to a doggie daycare program too!! Gidget chases cats, so no cats, please.
Gidget has been in a superior previous home but unfortunately the lady of the home has developed allergies and can no longer keep her.
This delightful girl will need a home with a secure back-yard to run in, play, and fetch her ball. You will need to keep an eye on your front door, Gidget may be a quick escape artist. No apartments or small children please. She is great in the car – absolutely LOVES car rides and does not get car sick. Gidget is still a young pup so be sure to have activities to keep her busy, proper chew toys, and she will thrive with puppy training classes – she is a SMART girl! Gidget needs some additional training with her walks as she gets sooo…excited to go outside and explore the world, a harness works well with her.
