My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winnie and Webster are a wonderful pair who have been in our care since they were born.
They were just 2 of 47 cats relocated from a hoarding situation who have all since had medical attention, spayed/neutered and either homed or moved to a new outdoor location. This group in general was not a very healthy group and took a lot of our time and resources to nurse everyone back to health.

It's unknown for sure if these two are actually from the same litter, or just born within a few days of each there (many litters at the location, unknown who was the mother to who). Regardless, they have been bonded since day one.

Because Winnie and Webster were newborn when the group was relocated, they were hit the hardest out of any others when it came to illness. Even some of the other kittens their age responded better to medications etc. We can only chalk it up to genetics at this point - it's like there was a lot of inbreeding (as there are with so many outdoor cat colonies) and this inevitably weakened their immune systems.

We have been working tirelessly for months to get achieve 'adoptable status" with these 2 and we finally have it. They are no longer receiving any medications or treatments and have been doing extremely well. The majority of their issues were upper respiratory related (runny eyes, sneezing, general inflammation). They were given various eye drops, antibiotics, special ordered anti-viral medications even to work towards keeping them healthy for the long term.

Even after all that they've been through, they are the sweetest pair you will ever meet. They love to play and give kisses. They keep each other entertained. They are now about 9 months of age.
They need an amazing home where they can continue to live the happy and healthy lives they deserve. We have never given up on these two and will keep looking for their perfect family.

** Adoption includes: full vaccination series, multiple deworming treatments, ongoing monthly flea product applied, spayed/neutered, feline leukemia/FIV screening (both negative), microchipping, large bag of current diet

Minimum adoption donation: $150 for both kittens
