Nick is a handsome 3 year old Duck Toller/Retriever mix.
He is loving, fun and enjoys cuddles, belly rubs and kisses (who doesn't). .
For Nick to be successful, and live a peaceful and calm life, he will not do well with city life. Country living, or as close to, are just some of Nicks must haves. Walks stress Nick out (causing unwanted behaviours) If you dislike the chore of daily walking, as much as Nick does, then he's the guy for you!
A large, fenced in backyard with room for a human friend to play tug of war or catch with and to have a blast with training, as Nick thrives on competition. Nick needs to be the only child in the home- no kids or other furry friends please. A mature person/couple is what Nick is dreaming about.
Nick has endless amounts of affection; will love you, protect you, be faithful and shower you with snuggles, tail wags and a wiggly bum. He is great indoors, house-trained, NO food aggression, non-destructive alone or at any time. Nick settles in nicely when you tell him to go to bed He knows all the basic commands and is ready to learn more!
Overall, one needs to be mindful and considerate of the fact that Nick cannot be thrown into any state of affairs that are unfamiliar and uncomfortable to him (who would). Predictable situations and routine are important in order to set Nick up or success. Nick is goofy and will entertain you daily. Who wouldn’t want to end each and every day with a smile? Lucky you, whom ever you are. Nick would love to meet you and tell you more about himself.
