Introducing the newest member of our pack: A 4-year-old, height-challenged, beagle/corgi mix that goes by the name of Sid! She is a little lowrider cruising through life on the cutest, impossibly short legs. Just look at that face! Sid exudes gentleness and is a sweet, unassuming girl that will fit well into most families. She gets along with other dogs and loves people, though she does tend to be very submissive with new folks. Sid was saved from a local shelter where she was brought in with another dog as a stray. We don’t know much about her background but she has not had a lot of formal training. Despite that, she is a very smart and willing student. She is doing well with leash training and thoroughly enjoying her daily outings with her pals here at the rescue. ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
