My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone! My name is Shelby. Before I came to Sugar Skull Pittie Rescue I was living in a very crowded shelter in NJ. I was found wandering the streets of Newark but no one knows why I lost my home . I guess no one wanted me anymore. Its ok though because now I'm living in a wonderful foster home with another male dog, a kitten and 3 kids! I can tell you that I love living in a home. I'm really careful with the kids especially the young boy. He loves to play ball with me and toss sticks and run all around. I am housetrained and I know lots of stuff! Sit, down, paw and I am learning more and more every day. When I go for walks wearing my harness I don't pull at all unless maybe there is something super exciting up ahead, but with continued training I can learn to be even more perfect!

They tell me I am really pretty. I have a brindle coat and I only weigh about 50 lbs. Im super easy and I think I would be happy in just about anyones home as long as I can stay with you forever and love you.
