My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hobbs is a 2 year old male purebred Golden Retriever with beautiful long golden hair. He was dumped off by the Phoenix International Raceway. He was obviously dumped and did not run away because he is very attached to people. He loves attention and has to always be right next to you touching you. He is always in the mood to play and loves stuffed animals. He will chase after anything you throw and also likes tug of war. He is very sweet and can never get enough attention. He loves cuddle time and is a big snuggly teddy bear who thinks he is a small dog. He likes water so we think he would love to have a pool to go swimming or be a great lake dog. Hobbs was very clearly just a breeder dog so the only time he ever got to meet other animals was so that he could mate with them. He would not do well with other dogs or cats at this time. He also did not get to be a pet in a home. When he first came inside he was so excited and had to check everything out. He has done great with the kennel training and potty training. He is just starting to learn how to walk on a leash but picking it up fast. He is very smart and already has learned sit. He will really try to do anything for a treat. He adores children and would play with them all day. Hobbs has the best disposition and personality and with just a little work of showing him how to be a family member and getting him more confident outside of the home he is going to be the perfect pet.
