Fiona is a American Bulldog/Boston Terrier Mix who is a 14 month old Female. Take a look at this adorable little face – the kind of cute you have to understand to appreciate J Fiona was born with a hair-lip and as a tiny puppy she was turned in by her owner because she was “defective”. Someone at County felt sorry for her and called Little Rascals for help and we didn’t think she was defective at all! Over the next five months our little girl went thru four surgeries to fix the hair-lip and make her mouth suitable for her to eat with. During that time she lived in a foster home where she was loved and cared for. She also lived with many other dogs and puppies and did great but as she got older it was obvious that Fiona was very much an “alpha” female. Once all was done with her mouth she was put up for adoption and was adopted by an awesome man that had a male French Bulldog – they lived happily for six months. During this time Fiona was extremely loving with her owner sleeping on him every night and cuddling during the day watching TV. She is house broken, crated trained and great on a leash. Fiona also knows basic commands and listens very well. She is super in a car and loves going for rides. She is athletic and enjoys running and hiking but most of all loves to snuggle. Fiona is also amazing with children and will allow them to do anything they want to her including using her as a pillow at story time. Even with all these great qualities we’ve learned that Little Miss Fiona wants to be a “Princess” and chooses to be the only animal in the castle. One day she and the other dog got into an argument and when he wouldn’t back down to her they got into an actual fight – sadly we all agreed that the two could no longer live together and she came back to us. So now Fiona is looking for a home where she will get ALL the attention and where she will be able to pour all her love out to her family. She is an amazing love and wants only to please whoever she’s around. Although Fiona is not “dog aggressive” as she isn’t looking to attack another dog, she is “not dog tolerant” and should not actually live with another dog. So if you’re one of those people or families that thinks “one dog is enough” and you want one that will be loyal and loving and active in your life – possibly our little girl is the perfect fit for you!
