I am Sophie's Foster Mom. She is a sweet 7-8 month old Belgian Malinois/ German Shepherd mix breed Pup. Right now she weighs about 40 lbs. She has a beautiful Chocolate and toffee coat with variations of markings traditional to these breeds. They are beautiful as they grow and mature into their coloring and coat, you will not be disappointed. Sophie has beautiful brown eyes. She is a happy go lucky little lady! She is curious and loves to play and learn. She was abandoned in a neighborhood a few weeks ago. Had it not been for the kindness of neighbors that got this sweet Puppy to our Rescue where now she is thriving, the outcome would not be so successful. I have been fostering her now for 1 week or so and it's been a joy every minute! She is very Happy, Healthy and well adjusted. She knows her basic commands but will need training as these dogs are highly intelligent and hard working. They want to please their Family. We are working with her on being house trained and kennel trained. She is adjusting very nicely to our cats and our 3 dogs a German Shepherd and two Shelties. So she is dog and cat friendly and workable!!! She is also great around toddlers and older kids. She love to be snuggled with, petted and brushed. Of course playtime with her toys is the Ultimate treat! We are also working on swimming in the pool with her. She is doing very well and now knows how to swim for the most part. Sophie is on her way to becoming a good Canine Citizen and companion for you and your family. I believe Sophie would be a wonderful addition to any home that loves and respects animals. She needs a family to call her own. Please consider giving her a forever home and family. She will bring years of love and joy to your family. She is Spayed, micro chipped and is current with all her vaccines. Not only are these type of dogs very loving, intelligent and active companions, these dogs along with their unique features and appearance also have a very unique personality. This intelligent pet is very people orientated, and sincerely enjoys their human companion. The dogs are very intelligent and are easily trained. They are considered to be a Herding/Working class Breed dog. Females weight tops out at around 55-65 lbs, height is 22-24 inches or so. They are very vigorous and healthy dogs that live on the average 10 to 14 years. Thank you for your consideration. All of our dogs are spay/neutered, up to date on shots and microchiped.
We are at petco on I17 & Happy Valley every Sunday from 11-6.
