Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Teeny tiny Herman has a big personality! This teacup chihuahua gent came to ACL from another high volume shelter where he had arrived as a stray. Despite his itty bitty size - he's only 4 pounds! - he's been nothing but sweet, curious, and fun since he arrived. Herman is great with people - he loves to be pet and cuddled, and he's comfortable being carried. He's unsure about leashes still, likely because he was never walked before. He learns quickly, and if you keep a nice lightweight leash on him, he has no trouble at all! There are special challenges that come with adopting a teacup animal - they can be underfoot sometimes, and they often need more time to potty train fully than larger breeds. Herman would love a home where he can be appreciated and adored for his spunky, loving personality while also feel comfortable and safe. Herman doesn't want to worry about getting accidentally squished! Because of his size, Herman would do best in a home with children 12 and up. He'll likely have no trouble with cats, and he's fine with other small dogs. Large dogs will not be good companions for Herman. If you truly believe good things come in small packages, Herman must really be the best thing out there!
