My story

Hi There!

My name is April. I am a beautiful brindle girl, with stunning markings. Everyone tells me that I am “darling” and “sweet” and that “I am pretty darned gorgeous, and very, very smart”. I lived in a field with my five brothers and sisters and my mom until I was a month old, and then a wonderful family took us all in. I live in a wonderful foster home with my mom and brothers and sisters, with lots of attention, love, and doggy friends. I love people. I know how to do lots of things that get my humans to give me treats. When I do these things the people give me a “click” and yummy treats, and tell me how smart I am. I can “sit”, lie “down”, and “target” your hand with my nose. I come running as fast as my legs can carry me when you call me to “come”, and I am a star at walking on a leash beside you. I love car rides, long walks and cuddles. I love my life in my foster home, but I am ready to find my special person to be the center of my universe. I am a little bit shy when there is a lot going on, but warm up quickly once I get the lay of the land. I would like a home with older kids, I think. I am already spayed and up to date with my puppy series shots.
