Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Walt. Walt is a mannerly, kind and gentle German Shepherd Dog. He is great on a leash and does not jump up. He came when I called him and sat while I photoed him. He is an AMAZING dog. He is very smart, of course!! He is good with other dogs and cats and good in a crate. He has the tops of his ears lopped off and we are not sure why. Our guess would be birds, another dog or a not nice human. He wasn't sure about coming into the office at first so it makes me think he was an "outside dog" in his last home. Walt wants to be a part of some family where he is allowed in all the activities including house living. He holds his potty and goes like a girl so he will not be a marker. He is about 55 pounds and 5 years old. He has lots of life in him and is a laid back boy. He will make a perfect companion for a great family. It seems to work best when we find a previous GSD owner for our adoptable GSD. He definitely will be an easy one to bring into your family. This boy is a gem. We will be using Rescue Road Trips to deliver Walt to his East Coast Dream home. He can be delivered to VA, PA, NJ, NY, MD, CT and VT. His adoption fee is 170 and transport is 185.
