My story

Meet Ripken! This gorgeous cream colored boy was transferred to us from another shelter. Ripken is a young, energetic dog who is about 1 year old (born March 2015). He enjoys being petted, walks well on a leash and will quickly settle into relaxing beside you. Ripken had a food aggression related incident with a younger child in a previous home and is therefore only recommended to an adult-only home or a home with children 14+. Since Ripken has had many changes over his short year of life, it is recommended that he go to a home where he can take the time he will need to slowly transition into a new, calm home, which will include teaching him proper manners and obedience.
