Poncho is 2.5 year old 15 lb terrier mix that came from a hoarding situation in Northeast AL. Although it takes him a little time to warm up to his human, he has shown great improvement in a new environment. Poncho is not an aggressive dog but will growl when he feels threatened. Patience and kindness is all he ask for and he will return that love and kindness with affection. He is good with the dogs that came into the rescue with him but proper introductions to a new dog is necessary. He has been house trained and crate trained. He would do better in a home with older children 10 yrs or older. If you are interested in this little guy please contact us for an adoption application via email provided. Foster to adopt is also an option. Poncho is Neutered, UTD on all his shots, Heart Worm negative and on all his preventative. Out of state adoptions are available and transport can be arranged for additional fees.
