My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Due to their state laws regarding adoption, we are not allowed to adopt to families with addresses in the states of Rhode Island or Massachusetts.

Pip is a one year old terrier mix pup. He is an adorable little pup weighing only 9 pounds. He loves everyone he meets and can't wait for someone to choose him as their newest family member. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. His adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies shot, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances lists dogs as being available in Kittery, Maine because we transport our dogs to Kittery every other week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
