Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meadow is an 11 ½ to 12 ½ year old blonde, female golden. She came back to SEVA GRREAT after her owner passed away earlier this year. Meadow weighs around 70 pounds and even though she is a senior golden, she gets around exceptionally well. She has no known health issues and only takes Cosequin for her joints.
Meadow gets along well with her foster’s 11 year old male golden. However, she has, on occasion, made a low growl when other dogs get in “her space”. She is more prone to doing this with other females as opposed to males or with younger dogs that are playful.
She has been exposed to young children without a problem and has never growled at a person. She has also wet in the house a few times so she needs to be let outside every few hours when roaming the house. She does not need to be crated and stays in the sunroom when the foster family is away. Also, Meadow is a little nervous when riding in a car. She’s been going on short rides to help her get over this fear.
Meadow is very sweet and has lots of personality. She would do best in a home with no other dogs or with older, laid back ones. It would also work best for her to be in a home where someone is home during the day.
