Updated bio. 6-20-16 It’s Victoria, our sweet, little 6 year old 5 pound Yorkie girl. Victoria is being fostered in North Port, FL. Victoria's adoption fee is $400 and includes all vetting (neuter, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Victoria by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.




She’s back. Victoria just arrived back at her foster home. Sadly Victoria's adopters returned her to her Foster Mom just the other day. Tears were flowing but it was the best decision for everyone concerned.




As sad as it was, Victoria’s foster mom now knows that Victoria, although very sweet and loving, does not like young children even if just visiting. She also does not enjoy lots of people visiting her people on a frequent basis. She is very attached to her people and needs a quiet, calm environment in order to feel safe and secure.



Victoria craves lots of attention and cuddling. She loves to give and receive tons of kisses. The best forever home for Victoria is one where one or two adults reside. A retired couple or one working from home would be ideal!



Victoria cannot be adopted into a home with children under the age of 14 living there or visiting frequently. If you have the right home for this precious girl please fill out an adoption application. She’ll be the love of your life.
