My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Leonardo! Leo came to us in miserable shape, barely skin & bones, but he is blossoming into a beautiful boy, full of spunky personality and he is ready now to find a family to call his own for the rest of forever!

Leo is around 1.5-2 years old. He expects other dogs to be his playmate so he'd do best with another playful dog or he'd be okay on his own as long as his family will entertain his playful spirit. Squeaky toys are a favorite of his, and he's often seen prancing through the yard carrying a stuffed toy sometimes bigger than his own body. Leo can sometimes get a little feisty about his toys and space, so we don't think he'd do well with small children. He currently lives in a foster home with another small (female) dog and a large (male) dog. There are no cats so we aren't sure what he does with cats.

Leo does have periodic dry eye issues, which is common in shih tzus and requires an over the counter eye drop.
