My story

Meet Lyla! Lyla is a beautiful 1 1/2 yr old Vizsla. We found her at a very high kill shelter in the LA Area where she came in as a stray.
She is a very sweet dog who loves to follow her people around the house or the yard. She is very much a Velcro dog! It seems as though she did not have much if any formal training, but she is SMART and she is already housetrained and is learning basic commands and doing very well walking on a leash. She does well in the car, too
At 43 pounds, she is a TINY thing! She is ideal for a family looking for a smaller dog. She loves to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home, and we feel that she will do best in a family with another dog who would like to play with her. Her favorite toys are stuffies…even after she unstuffs them, she loves to carry them around. She will spend hours chewing on raw meaty bones. She is not destructive in the house at all. She is very playful and loving, her favorite place is in a lap!
Like any Vizsla, Lyla would prefer a home where someone is home most of the time. Although she is calm and very good in the house, no dog likes to be left alone for long hours, even with another canine companion. Vizsla’s are true people dogs and consider themselves family members, and most of them do not do well left home alone for 8 hours.
