My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

Gina is a 10 week old chihuahua and dachshund mix puppy and one of the cutest puppies you will ever lay your eyes on! Her mother was found abandoned just days before she was due. Her mother is a chihuahua and dachshund mix but we have no idea what breed the father is. Gina is a loving and playful girl who does great with other dogs, cats, and children. She is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. Her adoption fee is $400 and includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances lists dogs as being available in Kittery, ME because we transport our dogs to Kittery every other week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
