My story

Cameron is available for adoption! Cameron is a 2 year old beautiful and intelligent Australian Shepherd who loves to keep the Barn animals (and volunteers!) in line and on their toes. He has a super silly personality and will make you laugh every single day.

Australian Shepherds are working dogs with a strong herding instinct, and are most successful when they have a job to do. Therefore, we will require a special home for Cameron. He needs a home where he has a job to do and will get the proper training to put his herding instincts to work. Cameron will not succeed as just a family pet- he will need to be worked with on a daily basis.

Cameron needs a home with no small dogs. A home with a larger dogs is fine, as long as the dogs are properly introduced. Cameron would excel at working with cattle, but not with small livestock (chickens, sheep, etc). Cam loves to be part of the action, but also enjoys quiet one on one attention and petting. He responds very well to commands and his intelligence is obvious- he’s just not a couch potato!
Cameron must go to a house or farm where he has a regular job to do!!
