My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Chico. I am a 7 ½ year old English Bulldog and I weigh about 45 pounds. My birthday is July 23, 2008. My current family has had me since I was born. I lived with my mom for 6 years and recently without her for the last year and a half. I have a human sister and brother, ages 11 and 6. I love them very much and play really well with them. I love them and the attention they give me, especially from my brother. My parents have had a hard time in their living situations over the past 3 years which has led to my future adoption. My mom knows that I deserve better and sees it best that I have a family who can give me the space, time, and attention that I deserve. I’m a pretty relaxed dog and love to take naps and lay out in the sun. I need a family with a yard where I can hang out when my family is not home. I do very well inside when my family is there but am better off outside when left alone. That way I can use the restroom and take naps in the sun. I love any and all attention given to me by my family and even strangers I meet when I get taken out for walks or sports games. However I like to be the only dog around. My parents a keep close eye on me when we go out. When I see other dogs I pull on the leash. Which is why I like to be the only pet in the household.

I’m sad to see my family go but excited to meet a family who will love me even more. More than my mom, so she will be happy knowing she made the right choice.
