My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Pinot. I am a gorgeous, shorthaired, black-and-white tuxedo girl with a mellow, sweet and soft-souled personality. I was born in April 2016. Once we are best friends, I will talk to you and tell you all about my day, then I will listen while you tell me about yours. If you could please pet me while we're having this conversation, that would be great. I really like head scritches, back scratches, chin rubs, the occassional belly rub, anything really. It's all about the love and the pets. I like to be brushed and grooomed, too. I am comfortable around calm dogs and I have lived with other mellow kitties. Hyper energy isn't for me. I am a laid back gal looking for a laid back home. In my foster care home, I get to go outside on a cat harness and roll around in the sunshine on the porch. I like that. Sunbathing is one of my favorite hobbies. A home with a catio would also be cool. I like to play with the occasional cat toy, but sometimes that just requires too much effort. I am on a special diet for life, but please give me a chance because I am totally worth it. I promise. Please apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
