Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kristy is 12 years young and weighs 6.8 pounds. She is being fostered in Cordova TN.
Her adoption fee is $125.00
All adoptions through United Yorkie Rescue require a Vet reference, personal references and a home visit.
Hey everyone! I have spent a few weeks with my foster mom and I am fitting in so nicely! I love laying on the couch, well actually pretty much anywhere that is warm and soft! In my foster home I have two foster sisters whom I love to snuggle with. A week or so ago I went to the vet where I got a few of my teeth pulled and all of them cleaned! My foster mom says I now have a million dollar smile and way better breath! Even though I don't have all my teeth I still can eat anything. I have gotten on a new diet to gain some weight which is hard and soft food. I totally love it! Also while I was at the vet the doctor said that I am in GREAT health to be an older girl.
At my foster home my foster mom says I'm pretty spoiled, I'm not sure on what that means but if it involves eating treats and sleeping in the bed at night I am all about it! I am an older girl so I move at a more relaxing pace than my foster sisters. They like to play an awful lot and I just lay on the couch and watch them until I fall asleep. When my foster mom and dad go to work during the day I curl up on the recliner with my pillow and blanket and just wait until they come home. I wish they could stay at home with me all the time because I sometimes get sad when they leave.
Walking outside on a leash is one of my other favorite activities. We go for walks a lot and somehow I am always the caboose bringing up the end, but my foster mom says that's the pace she likes to walk too! I can see and hear everything when we go outside so I want to just take my time taking it all in, mom says I like to "stop and smell the roses." I love it here at my foster home but I would really love to find a home of my own, with a new mom who stays with me most of the day. I am a quiet girl just looking for a forever family in a home that is quiet and relaxed like I am.
