Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION PENDING Greetings! My name is Carmel (a name that also describes the beautiful color of my coat). I am a super little lovebug and would be a wonderful addition to a very lucky family!
I originally came to a shelter as a stray puppy. After being rescued, I was diagnosed with a non-contagious form of mange because whoever I belonged to in the past did not give me proper nutrition or veterinary care. I was given medicine for the mange, and the hair has mostly grown back, but there are still little rings of hair that are growing in slowly. I'm just telling you all of this up front, so that when you meet me, you won't ask, 'Why does her hair look funny?'
Do you enjoy cuddles and kisses in the evenings while watching TV? Do you enjoy hiking, walking, or other activities involving movement? I fit into both of these scenarios quite nicely. I do fine with cats and LOVE kids! I am usually a little too bossy with other dogs, and so if I were the only dog in a household, I'd be quite content, to be honest with you!
Once, I had to write this essay for puppy kindergarten, called 'All About Me.' I used terms like 'affectionate', 'intelligent', and 'eager to learn' to describe myself. I am very loving and pretty well-behaved for a puppy (I'm only about 9 months old). I would benefit from some obedience training, and an adopter with dog experience would be ideal for me.
I am mostly-housebroken and crate-trained. I am spayed, received all my vaccines, have been dewormed, started on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
I weigh 37 pounds....that's what I call a petite bundle of love. My pictures don't do me justice. I am FAR cuter than what I look like in these pictures. A camera just can't capture the true charm of bat ears and eyeliner around the eyes!
What do you say, can we give love a chance?
