Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION PENDING COURTESY POST FOR MEASLE'S ANIMAL HAVEN: You may contact Robin directly at 614-595-5266 or measlesanimalhaven@yahoo.com for more information about meeting or adopting Kojak.
Kojak is a special favorite here at the rescue. He is a 2-3 year old American Bulldog. He was the worst neglect case we have ever seen. Kojak is now growing in beautiful white fur but when rescued he was completely bald because of demodetic mange (which is non-contagious to animals and humans). Kojak is the sweetest, most docile boy. He thumps his tail when you talk to him and tries to climb onto your lap to snuggle. He weighs about 65 pounds.
Kojak is lucky. He was saved by the Second Chance Humane Society from being euthanized at a county pound (where he was taken after he was found), and then Second Chance brought him to us. We are treating his demodex and Kojak's fur has already filled in quite a bit. He is mostly white now and will have glorious white fur all over in just a few more weeks! According to our veterinarian, he should make a full recovery.
Kojak is a phenomenal dog. He loves people and is happiest when he is cuddling with a person and giving him/her kisses. He has an EXCELLENT temperament. He is good with medium to large size dogs (male and female). He is NOT good with cats and must live in a cat-free household.
Kojak is housebroken and he is crate trained, will be neutered prior to adoption, had all his vaccines, been heartworm tested, has been dewormed, started on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention, and is microchipped.
Kojak is looking for an indoor home only. A completed adoption application, adoption fee, home visit(s), references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. We will not adopt to any municipality where bully breed dogs are illegal.
Kojak is ready for a loving, forever home with someone who can commit to him for the rest of his life.
There is a $100.00 adoption fee for Kojak.
