My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alice is a 3 year old chihuahua who was brought to Downey Shelter as a stray. She was found severely mangled and was set to be euthanized because the shelter didn't have the means to perform the surgery she needed. Luckily we were able to rescue Alice in time. She had extensive surgery where her broken femur head was removed and replaced. When we rescued Alice she couldn't move and was in a lot of pain. Only a couple of weeks after surgery she is walking around and happy as ever. Alice is super sweet, potty trained, and loves dogs and people. She is a great-natured girl with lots of love to give!
