My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Montana! She is an ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS dog!

Montana is a Labrador/Basset Hound mix and she is so sweet and so adorable.

She is a true lovey dog and extremely obedient.  She has degenerative disc disease in her back so she does require monthly medication for her back.  She is not super active because of this.

Additional adoption info

We require vet references, approved application, and finalized adoption contract before a dog leaves the rescue. We reserve the right of whether to adopt to individuals without fences or families with children on a case by case basis.

More about this rescue

Orphaned Angels Rescue was established in 2007. We strive to save dogs primarily from puppy mills and breeders. We operate with the philosophy that these dogs have never had the opportunity to live the life that all dogs are entitled. We also receive dogs from shelters and owner surrenders when space is availability. The rescued dogs will stay within the rescue until ready for adoption. All dogs are vaccinated, spay or neutered, heartworm tested and also receive any other vetting that is needed to insure a long and comfortable life. If the dog is not able to be spay or neutered before the time of adoption for any reason then an additional deposit is required along with a spay/neuter agreement and the dog will be spay or neutered at the appropriate time at the rescue's expense.
