Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bess is a loving, gentle girl. Especially great with children. She has a sweet temperament, is intelligent and obedient. Loves to be cuddled, play fetch. Her past was very rough - She was born as stray, four of her littermates were hit and killed by a bus. When she was just 2 months old, her mother was hit and badly injured. This is when a kind volunteer stepped in and adopted the mother, with her three surviving puppies. Two of those puppies have been adopted to loving Bay Area homes, Bess awaits hers. Due to malnutrition as a puppy, she suffered from osteoporosis and has one crooked leg, barely noticeable and does not affect her day to day life at all. She has been taken to four different vets and all agreed she does not need surgery, which would purely be cosmetic at this point. She is healthy, rehabilitated and ready for a loving furever home!
