My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is new to the rescue so we will update more as we get to know him! So far, he can be a little nervous at first but quickly warms up! Super friendly, has been good with other dogs so far. Getting used to his crate and walking on a leash.
He's under 2 years old and 30 lbs.

We are a rescue in the HOUSTON area dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets by adopting them into loving homes in high demand areas. The application is on our website www.peacelovedogs.com

We prefer to adopt our dogs in the New England area since smaller dogs aren't in shelters and on the streets like in Houston. We have an over population problem here, there are many rescues but our shelters are always full with an 84%+ kill rate and an estimated 1.2 million homeless pets on our streets. Yes, even small scruffy or fluffy dogs..by the hundreds.

We use Rescue Road Trips to transport our dogs from the house to NE. Over 10 years they have transported over 35,000 from the South to NE. The families wait for the truck to pull up, signs waiving to meet their new dog, its called Gotcha Day!

Vet reference is required. We can't adopt to residents in MA.

The adoption fee is $575 and that will include all vetting..neuter, vaccinations, health certificate, microchip, and transport via Rescue Road Trips
