ADOPTION PENDING

Hello, my name is Dave! I am a 3 year old, 26 lb neutered male creme male Basenji mix. I've been selected to participate in a nationally recognized training program the New Leash On Life (NLOL). My training will focus on additional leash & crate training (I'm already housetrained), as well as some impressive agility & obedience training! We are a few weeks into our education, and my trainer says that I'm doing well. Can't wait for our Graduation Ceremony on June 1st!

I feel pretty lucky to have been recruited for the NLOL program. You see, me and my beautiful fur sister, Venus, were surrendered to the Havelock shelter because our previous owners decided that we couldn't come along for the move! I could easily go on a tangent right now about us being left behind, however, let's just stay positive and focus on the great adventures that the future has in store for us! As you can see from my photo, I enjoy playing with toys and I really enjoy walks. Although, I am also very laid back at times. A great balance!

Now the great news is that I enjoy being with other dogs and children, and I don't mind cats. As I progress though the 8 weeks of training, my trainers will learn more about me and will be happy to share with anyone who is considering me as their forever dog!
