Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION PENDING
Hello, my name is Chase and I am only 1.5 years! I happen to be an adorably handsome 45 lb neutered male English Setter mix who has been selected to participate in the nationally recognized training program the New Leash On Life (NLOL). We are a few weeks into our education, and my trainer says that I am a very intelligent dog and have picked up quickly on the basic commands: heed, sit, down, and stay. :) Fortunately, I am already house trained and will be crate trained upon our Graduation Day of June 1st!
So, more helpful tips about me...I love playing fetch and tug games with the rope. I also love a good rub down and am quite lovable with a gentle disposition. I do very well in a group setting with large numbers of people too! I play well with other dogs and am wonderful with children and I don't seem to mind cats.
Now, you may be wondering why I am available for adoption in the first place. Well, the reality is that my previous owners surrendered me to the shelter (the same shelter where they originally adopted me as a puppy) because of my ability to scale our back yard fence. In my defense, I am an English Setter mix, so great digging and jumping abilities are in my genetics. My hope is that my true forever family won't leave me alone in the back yard and they will have a secure fence that won't lend itself to being easily climbed. If you feel that I may be the dog that you've been searching for then please submit an adoption application for me at www.palsforpaws.org
