My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Reggie and my foster mom always tells me how handsome and sweet I am. I have two foster sisters and a brother, and I get along with all of them. The first time I met them, I was already desperately trying to play. My foster family has these awesome things called cats, which I do not like right at the moment. I want to chase them. I also want to chase the little grand children on their Big wheels and we are all working on this.

I sleep in a crate at night - I go willingly and am quiet all night. I am somewhat house trained, but have been working hard on this and I'm doing better! I've also been working on some stuff to impress my new family. I like toys, but I really love food. I eat my food really fast and bark as I eat. My foster mom has put my food in a muffin pan which make me slow down some. My foster sister is also an ACD and we are really jealous of each other but we don't fight, we both just want mom's full attention. I have lots and lots of energy too!!

From his foster mom, Linda:

Reggie is the most amazing dog. He is the sweetest and most loving dog I've ever met. He doesn't have the typical ACD behavior. He like to run in circles all the time, but he is still not for the first time owner. He has liked the kids he's met, but since he's still a bit puppyish himself, he might unintentionally knock them down, so older children are best. He is interested in cats, If they run, he can't help himself but to chase them, so only dog-savvy cats are recommended.

Reggie is neutered, up to date on shots, and he has the pearliest white teeth. He is a bit smaller, only about 40 lbs and not expected to get any bigger. He is approximately 2 years old, He is such a cuddle bug. He does have a tendency to mouth when he gets excited, but he is usually very gentle about it and takes interruption well. He does tend to get into a bit of trouble when he's bored, so he's going to need someone who understands the mental and physical needs of these intelligent types of dogs.
