My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Cheryl (savealldoggies@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Robin has golden brown eyes and has a look of love in hers.   She was in a high Kill Shelter in Texas and I brought her here to give her a chance at a new life with someone who would love her.  She adores children and children love her   She will kiss you endlessly.  She is crate trained and seems to be house broken.    They are very sweet and lovable.  They love attention and will cuddle and lick you all day if you let them.  You could not ask for a more sweeter baby to have in your home.

Her donation fee is $200.00

The donation fee helps offset the needs of the other dogs at our rescue and the expenses incurred on this baby.

Adopting a dog that has been moved from a home to a shelter and then to a rescue is not for everyone. It takes time and patience to make that dog feel at home in his new environment. It takes at least 1 week and usually up to a month for a dog to acclimate to your schedule and home. An animal shelter is the most stressful place for a dog to be, with other dogs barking and not knowing what is happening around them. Some dogs come to their new home scared and timid. They will sometimes take several days before they start eating and have anything to do with the new adopters.
PLEASE, if you aren't willing to work with your new rescue and let them get to know you at their own pace, please don't apply for one of my dogs. Returning a dog within 24-48 hours of picking it up is hard on the dog and hard on the rescuer. Go to a breeder if you want a cute little puppy that wags its tail when he sees you. He hasn't been through what a rescue dog has been through.
It's not easy rescuing a dog. It takes patience and time and LOVE. These dogs need love and understanding, not another rejection.
