My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Chewbacca, everybody calls her Chewie!! My human abandoned me and I was on my own until on night a nice man and his little daughter took care of me. They gave me a shelter, food and a place to rest my head. Sadly they couldn't keep me because their landlord had a no dog policy. The nice ladies at The Stray Network Animal Rescue have taken me in and they tell me every day that someone will come to love me.

My estimated date of birth is around 6/1/15 and they think I am a Yorkie Terrier mix. I know I have big ears but they are just better to hear you with. When I arrived at my foster I was very thin, but now I have gained a little weight (approciamtely 11 lbs) and I look and feel awesome. I am as big as I am going to get so if you like little dogs I am perfect for you. I am the quintessential "lap dog", loves to be held and will follow you around the house. My perfect day would be to get into the car and go for a ride. Then stop someplace for a nice long walk. When you return home, I will sit on your lap while you watch TV, go through the mail, or work on the computer. When you are ready to go for another ride or take a walk, I will be right there with you, ready to go! I am a sweet little girl that likes to be carried around and hugged. I love to take naps on your lap or lay up against you. I get along with other easy going dogs and I am crate trained.
