Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Poochie is currently being fostered in Houston, his adoption will be out-of-state and there is, unfortunately, no opportunity to meet him prior to her adoption. His adoption fee is $500, which covers his flight, a new kennel, and of course, he is fully vetted and healthy.**
Poochie came to us, as so many of our sweet loves do, from the overcrowded streets of Houston where he then found himself as a pit bull mix in a shelter that does not adopt “pit bulls” out to the public. Luckily for our sweet boy, a Guardian Angel saw his sweet face and worked fast to whisk him to safety. Since coming into our rescue, we have found Poochie to be the most loving and happy guy, he loves to play and lay out in the sun.
Poochie is approximately 2 years old and in the mid 50-pound range and he will not likely grow any larger (he may put on some muscle growth with great exercise!). Poochie is excellent with other dogs, he has been very well socialized and is a pro at interacting with new furry friends. Though he gets along with dogs of all sizes, he may do better in a home where he can run and play with a dog his own size since he's such a goofball and enjoys play! Although great with other dogs, we think his energy would be too much for a kitty friend to appreciate, so we would like to place him in a home with no cats.
Poochie is a higher level energy guy who would benefit from a family that can provide him with the proper exercise to help him effectively expel that energy. His very favorite thing to do is play – he loves everything from tennis balls down to a good old fashioned stick. He would make an amazing running or hiking buddy and would make a great addition to a family who wants to make him a part of all of their adventures.
Although Poochie loves to romp and play with other dogs, he melts into a big ole squishy puddle when he meets kids! While he does not currently live with kids, every time he has met them, he has been very gentle and loving with them. We know that he would make an excellent addition to a family with other pets and/or kids or as a bachelor dog!
Poochie has been through basic training, he is house, kennel, and leash trained. He knows his basic manners and is ready for a family of his very own. He is fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped) and has no known health issues.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. This can be done through our website at www.reggiesfriends.org – if you hover over the “adoptables” tab, the link to the application will appear.
If you have any questions about Poochie, please feel free to email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org
**Because the flights are so expensive to transport the dogs to their new families, our adoption fee is firm and non-negotiable.**
