Sir was most likely left behind when people moved out of the apartment complexes that border my property. He began showing up in my yard, so I put out a feeding station and shelter. Everytime I saw him I would say, well hello Sir, hence his name! Once I trapped him, it was obvious he was totally domesticated.
Sir is extremely mellow and friendly. He loves to be held like a baby and very much enjoys treats, wet food and cat nip! He is an old soul and often has a searching gaze when he is observing me. He follows me around like a dog and when I sit down he immediately jumps up and curls himself into my lap.
Sir would be a wonderful addition to any household, as long as there are no more than 2 other kitties. Because he was outside and had to fight for territory, he is very wary around other cats and tends to lash out, but then he falls over and is submissive, so it would be a slow and patient introduction if he goes to a household with other kitties.
