My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Monster, he is a Harlequin Macaw, presumed Male, and in his 20's. He came to us several months ago after the death of his owner. He was still grieving at the time, however he is gradually coming out of his shell and becoming more comfortable around us. He will step up to both men and women, however he is male preferential and thus will need a male adopter. Once he steps up, he is a complete shoulder bird and loves dancing. He isn't very fond of head scratches yet however with a little work and patience, he will be. Monster would not be a bird that I would recommend around young children, and he will need an experienced adopter. He does not do well with other birds, therefore would need to go to a single bird home.
