Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper was found in Houston's South Park neighborhood. She had been hit by a car and was limping. Very sweetly she was approaching people on the street with a wagging tail asking for help. Instead of helping her, the people of this community began to abuse her more. One of our volunteers witnessed this and picked her up.
She is recovering from a broken leg. Vet said it had already began to heal when we brought her in. She is doing great and is walking and even playing and running again. Pepper is Heartworm Positive and has been started on slow kill treatment and is should test negative once she has been on treatment for 12 months.
She is a very sweet girl, has a high puppy energy level and loves to play and be around other dogs. She is crate trained, potty trained and is doing good on a leash. She loves to give kisses and cuddle next to you. Pepper would be a great companion for any family with children and other pets.
