Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Liam is currently being fostered in Houston, his adoption will be out-of-state and there is, unfortunately, no opportunity to meet him prior to her adoption. His fee is $450, which covers her flight and a new kennel. Because Liam is too young to be neutered, his adoptive family will sign a contract agreeing to have him neutered once the vet deems him old enough for the surgery.**
Liam and his siblings came to us from a local shelter where he and his siblings were turned in by someone who could not care for them. At just three weeks old, and barely two pounds, the shelter asked if we could take them in because they were too little to be able to survive in the shelter environment. Once look at their tiny faces and we could not say no! So, we brought them into the rescue where they have been able to grow into healthy, happy puppies.
Liam is currently 10 weeks old and he is believed to be a Heeler / Australian Cattle Dog mix who we anticipate will be in the mid 50-pound range when he is full grown. Heelers are very active and intelligent dogs who require families who can ensure that they will receive proper exercise and mental stimulation in order to keep them in peak shape. Liam's ideal family will be one that will get him plenty of exercise and take him on family adventures.
Liam is currently being fostered with his siblings and other dogs, both big and small. He has been growing in a loving and happy environment and we know that he will grow into a loving and happy adult! He would make a great addition to a family that already has dogs or would also be fine as an only dog. Generally, we would advocate that this breed mix would not be the best suited for a life with cats as they may chase, but since he is a young pup who would grow up with a cat, we think he would be okay. Liam would be a good addition to a family with older children that understand how to be gentle with little puppies.
We want to stress that Liam is a young puppy who is not good at anything yet! His ideal family will be one who has the patience to manage all of the shenanigans that come along with young puppy ownership – including potty training, chewing, kennel training, leash walking, and basic manners.
Liam will not be old enough to be neutered at the time of his adoption, so his family will sign a contract noting that once their vet deems him old enough to be neutered, the family will accept the financial responsibility of doing so.
Liam has received care appropriate to his age, including vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. This can be done through our website at www.reggiesfriends.org – if you hover over the “adoptables” tab, the link to the application will appear.
If you have any questions about Liam, please feel free to email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org
**Because the flights to transport dogs to their new families are so expensive, our adoption fee is firm and non-negotiable.**
