Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Fiona is currently being fostered in Houston, her adoption will be out-of-state and there is, unfortunately, no opportunity to meet her prior to her adoption. Her adoption fee is $450, which covers her flight and a new kennel. Because Fiona is too young to be spayed, her adoptive family will sign a contract agreeing to have her spayed once the vet deems her old enough for the surgery.**
Fiona and her siblings came to us from a local shelter where she and her siblings were turned in by someone who could not care for them. At just three weeks old, and barely two pounds, the shelter asked if we could take them in because they were too little to be able to survive in the shelter environment. Once look at their tiny faces and we could not say no! So, we brought them into the rescue where they have been able to grow into healthy, happy puppies.
Fiona is currently 8 weeks old, but she is believed to be a Heeler / Australian Cattle Dog mix who we anticipate will be in the mid 50-pound range when she is full grown. Heelers are very active and intelligent dogs who require families who can ensure that they will receive proper exercise and mental stimulation in order to keep them in peak shape. Fiona's ideal family will be one that will get her plenty of exercise and take her on family adventures.
Fiona is currently being fostered with her siblings and other dogs, both big and small. She has been growing in a loving and happy environment and we know that she will grow into a loving and happy adult! She would make a great addition to a family that already has dogs or would also be fine as an only dog. Generally, we would advocate that this breed mix would not be the best suited for a life with cats as they may chase, but since she is a young pup who would grow up with a cat, we think she would be okay. Finoa would be a good addition to a family with older children that understand how to be gentle with little puppies.
We want to stress that Fiona is a young puppy who is not good at anything yet! Her ideal family will be one who has the patience to manage all of the shenanigans that come along with young puppy ownership – including potty training, chewing, kennel training, leash walking, and basic manners.
Fiona will be available for adoption after April 2nd when she will receive her 3rd booster vaccinations. Fiona will not be old enough to be spayed at the time of her adoption, so her family will sign a contract noting that once their vet deems her old enough to be spayed, the family will accept the financial responsibility of doing so.
Fiona has received care appropriate to her age, including vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. This can be done through our website at www.reggiesfriends.org – if you hover over the “adoptables” tab, the link to the application will appear.
If you have any questions about Fiona, please feel free to email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org
**Because the flights to transport dogs to their new families are so expensive, our adoption fee is firm and non-negotiable.**
